SLC to SAV!! woo~
There's nothing like getting on an airplane in the early afternoon and flying hundreds of miles an hour above the snow-capped rocky mountains and the desert lakes of Utah. Every day I am confirmed in my decision to make Utah my home but it's experiences like these that truly put me in awe. If you have never been to Utah you NEED to come out and visit me so I can take you to the many many mountains, caves, deserts, arches, forests, islands, cities, and bohemian-esque awesome restaurants and hide-outs. The state is truly a diamond in the rough. I love it!
So here I am on my way back to Savannah to... *gasp* graduate from college. It's strange.. I feel a type of almost anxiety from leaving the friendly shadow of my mountainous home. It's an interesting phenonimina really- being surrounded by the Wasatch mountains for the past six months and now, I'm flying over them, feeling a little anxiety about not having them in my view all of the time. Don't get me wrong, I can't WAIT to get to Savannah.

Next to motorcycles, I think that airplanes are one of man's greatest invention accomplishments. On top of being like the safest way to travel (right?) airplanes have something that other forms of transportation don't have: SKYMALL! Ohmygawsh can I please take the time to tell you how much I love SKYMALL. What other magazine on the planet has everything from a steak vacuum marinater that marinates food in seconds using vacuums technology to a underwater casing for your new video ipod to a coffee table that has a sculpture of a sumo wrestler as the support for the glass top!? Seriously- SKYMALL has everything you'd ever never need. Behold! A Lamp that looks like a robot that can hold a pen and a pad of paper, the Bionic Golf Glove, a full sized golf cart that looks like a mini Escalade, and every single type of lumbar support you would ever need! SKYMALL even has a clock that tells you what day it is instead of the time itself. How entertaining is SKYMALL? Entertaining enough that I just spent a whole paragraph bragging about it.
So I'll be in Savannah about a week. I'm staying with one of my best buddies Hawk and should be busy as a SCAD BEE (haha) catching up with peeps and carrying on and what not. A lot of people will have family in town which is awesome so I'll be able to see some family friends that I rarely get to see like mamamia's sister! wee! I'm super stoked because I am staying for a few days after school is out I'll be able to catch up with that many more people under a lot less pressure. Even better- my boyfriend Tyler is going to be able to hang out in Savannah with me and meet my family and a ton of my friends. Holy molly this is going to be a crazy but great week. I can't believe I'm about to walk across the stage and graduate from college. How funny is it that I have like 50 bucks to my name right now in the middle of this. Not only that but i JUST moved to a new apartment in SLC and have all of my stuff all over the place- at my boyfriend's house, in my car, in my new apartment. Life is hectic but all is well.
Goals for my trip to Savannah
0-get to the Jinx with Hawk Thursday night and dancedancerevolution
1- somehow get tyler a ticket to graduation
2- see as many people as possible and make sure my contact info is correct
3- actually graduate
4- catch up with some professors I don't want to loose touch with
5- do a mini-tour in Florida with AGGG (yeow!)
6- buy a pair of Georgia cowboy boots
7- get everybody who worked on my senior film a copy of the dvd
8- get graduation money so i can do all of that? haha
More to come- Godbless.
We could be closer than you know,'
